Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
What better day to launch my new blog design (more on that next week) than with a gorgeous rustic wedding… and not just any wedding, my cousin Jordan’s wedding to his high school sweetheart, Katelynn. These two survived thousands of miles of long distance while Katelynn attended Pepperdine University in Southern California and Jordan pursued his education at home in Oregon. There is no doubt, these two are thrilled to start their new lives together… in the same city! Their Eagle Crest Resort Wedding in Redmond was a beautiful celebration of family and friends in a gorgeous, rustic affair. Jordan’s older sister Natalie is a super talented luxury wedding planner based in Orange County – she coordinated all the decor for the day and designed and assembled all of the bouquets, centerpieces and floral elements herself. She and I reconnected this fall at engage!13 Montelucia and it was so fun to see her again! My cousin Tyler is an artist and and architect… he built by hand the wooden log cupcake tower centerpiece for the cake display. And well, Haley and I took the pictures… it was a team effort!
Jordan, I’m feeling kind of old now that you’re married and Haley’s engaged (they’re only a month apart in age), but I could not be more excited for your and Katelynn! Congratulations!!
Natalie did such a great job on all the bouquets!
Jordan made a dapper groom!
Jordan gave his groomsmen custom shave kits in these gorgeous wooden engraved boxes…
Katelynn and her maids saying a prayer before the ceremony… love this shot!
I love this bridal party …. I’m a sucker for men in suspenders… and I love the coral and blue color palette!
My mom is one of five girls in her family and four out of the five of them had babies in the same year… incredible that Charlie, Jordan, Alec & Haley all ended up with the same hair color too.. what are the chances?
Love this mother-son shot of Louise and Jordan – one of my favorites!
Obsessed with this one!
Tyler’s masterpieces… the cupcake tower…
After the toasts and cake cutting… we snuck these two out onto the resort grounds during the golden hour for these amazing sunset portraits! The light was soooo good….
Can’t get enough of this shot Haley grabbed!
Back to the dance floor to get this party started!
My grandma’s boyfriend just turned 97 years young… and he danced it up with the best of them! So cute!
I handed the camera off for the father-daughter dance!
Jordan and Katelynn are the oldest siblings in BIG families… I’ve never seen so many girls angling for a shot at catching the bouquet…
The Maid of Honor and sister of the bride was not going to miss this! Ha ha!
Sisters smooch… ha ha!
