Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
For Laura and Dan, Saturday’s celebration was a decade in the making. Although the wedding made it official, these two have been family long before they said I do. As the sun set over the historic Inn at Erlowest on Lake George Saturday evening, together with their children as witnesses, these two pledged their lives and love to one another. Jackson and Ella completed the bridal party, and stole the show themselves, if I do say so myself. They were adorable!
Laura and Dan planned their wedding at the Erlowest sight unseen! This turn-of-the-century stone castle on the banks of one of New York State’s most scenic lakefronts set the perfect stage for their sweetly intimate celebration. Two long feasting tables on the stone balcony hosted the adults and a playful “kids corner” area for the little guests was all the room they needed for a picturesque evening under the full moon. The whole party lit Chinese lanterns and sent them off into the stars and enjoyed a S’mores roasting station for dessert before sending the newlyweds off in a fiery sparkler exit.
Laura and Dan, I was so honored to document such a meaningful day for you and your families and I hope you enjoy every second of your new lives together. Congratulations!!
Laura wore her grandmother’s diamond ring as her something borrowed…
Dan made a handsome groom! I love the dapper blue suit…
Ella helped her mommy get into her BHLDN gown…
One of my favorite photographs of the day!
Laura and Dan shared a first look under the stone balcony…
So gorgeous Laura!!
Are these kids the cutest or what?!?
The glowing bride!!
Love this one!
Guests were shuttled down from the Inn to the waterfront ceremony location on the banks of Lake George…
Man & Wife!!
The bride styled the tables and even did the reception floral design herself. All of the personal touches made this a wedding truly special!
We captured a few last portraits before the sun disappeared along the water’s edge… I love these images from the docks…
