Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
He saw her from across the bonfire, their first week of their freshman year at Washington & Lee… and he knew he had to meet her, even if just to be friends with such a pretty girl. Not many people can say it was love at first sight… but Will is sure that it was. After asking a friend to introduce him, they were a match! After 6 years together, Will surprised Abbey with a candle lit proposal on the footsteps of her parents home in Nashville over the Holidays. These two college sweethearts are planning a classic New York City celebration at The University Club this fall and I can’t wait to capture it all!
On Monday, despite a cloudy, gray forecast that we almost rescheduled the session for, the clouds parted, the sun came out… I met these two on the steps of the original Magnolia Bakery in the West Village to photograph their engagement session on a perfect spring day. We wandered the cobblestone streets of the west village and even found a few cherry blossoms along the way to the Hudson River Walk where we finished the session on the water!
Abbey & Will, I truly enjoyed getting to know you both better and I’m so excited to photograph the two of you when you tie the knot this fall. It’s going to be a spectacular event and I am so excited for both of you. Enjoy these highlights from your engagement session!!
Congrats you guys!! I can’t wait for November!!
