Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
There’s nothing quite as exciting as getting an email from a future groom looking to have his proposal photographed professionally and the thrill of planning such a top secret mission! When Brad’s message popped up in my inbox several weeks ago, I couldn’t wait to help! He and I snuck down to the River Cafe and Brooklyn Bridge Park a couple weeks ago amidst a snow flurry to plot his proposal to Katie… once we had the details all worked out, the plan was set! A friend set up the rose petals to mark the spot and I hid among the tourists on Saturday afternoon, one of the first gorgeous spring days in New York, to wait for Brad to walk his future bride to the spot. It could not have been a more beautiful day to get engaged under iconic New York City landmark! Brad and Katie, I’m so excited to have been there to capture these moments for you and could not be more thrilled for you guys!! Congratulations!!!
I love this shot!
The timing worked out perfectly as the sun began to drop over lower Manhattan and across the bridge!
We took a few minutes after Brad popped the question to do a mini-engagement session around the park before these two headed off to celebrate their engagement together at the River Cafe in Brooklyn. The city skyline glowed behind us in the sunset!
You guys are too cute!!
Love this one!!
During the course of our proposal planning, Brad and I discovered that we are ALL from Arizona!! He and Katie went to high school in a neighboring Phoenix town to where I went to high school. It’s such a small world!!
