Hanging out with Katelyn James
Details from My Photography Coaching Session

Despite a mid-air reroute to Philadelphia on my flight home, a stolen cell phone, and one less pair of sunglasses… I made it home in one piece from my coaching session with Katelyn James last week brimming with ideas and plans for the next stage of my business. I won’t give away all of Katelyn’s secrets but if anyone is waffling about whether or not to make this kind of investment… it was well worth it!! Everyone knows, I love a good workshop, but a one-on-one setting is a unique opportunity to ask specific questions, get individual critique, and to figure out those nagging things that you might be too embarrassed to ask anywhere else… and to get it from someone who is rocking out her business and shooting 30+ weddings per year while speaking, educating and elevating everyone else around her. Priceless!

I knew we were going to take head shots during the day so I had my hair blown dry at a local salon after my early morning flight… I failed however to ask for hairspray and all that humidity did quite a number to my coif… oh well… I love those shots that Katelyn captured and all the posing instruction she gave during this part of the day was invaluable. Posing is hard ya’ll … I was pleasantly surprised that we spent so much time on it during the day! Enjoy a few favorites… and checkout my new Facebook cover photo from Katelyn!

I don’t know how southern girls ever manage their hair… one step into the humidity and mine is ruined! I promise it was a cute style in the morning… ha ha!

Thanks Katelyn!! Can’t wait to see you again soon!
