Although they probably passed each other on the campus of Notre Dame as freshman and sophomores numerous times… it took a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to Spain for Kathryn and Andrew to finally meet in the University’s study abroad program in the city of Toledo. They quickly became friends after meeting at JFK, en route to their home abroad for the semester. However, romance didn’t blossom until they returned to campus for their senior year. Since then these two have endured years of long distance… going back and forth between Philadelphia and New York to be together…. and now at last, they’re living in the same city and planning their wedding!!
Last week I made a special trip southwest on I-95 to Philadelphia for Kathryn and Andrew’s engagement session in the City of Brotherly Love! I realized as I arrived downtown to meet these two at Rittenhouse Square that although I’ve passed through Philly many times, I’d never really been inside the bustling city center before. I was immediately charmed by the city.
Together we wandered the city streets near their apartment for their engagement session. I love how these images turned out! Kathryn and Andrew… I can’t wait to celebrate your Tappan Hill Wedding next summer in Tarrytown! I hope you enjoy these highlights from your session!! I love them!
