Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
Christina and Demian stepped in front of my camera for their city engagement session this week in the little hidden gem that is the Conservancy Garden on the northeast corner of Central Park. It’s hard to believe this little slice of heaven actually exists. It’s like stepping off of 5th Avenue and into the Secret Garden, wrought iron fence and all. This was my first time in the conservancy during the fall and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that in addition to the turning gold leaves of fall, the purple and magenta and pink flowers are in full bloom as well. So gorgeous!!
When Christina and Demian first inquired about their wedding photography, they listed how much they love great food, great wine, travel, skiing and tennis… and family and friends of course! I felt like, if I were to write an online dating profile for myself, these are the exact things I would list! Ha ha! I knew I was going to love them from our first correspondence. I mean, Demian proposed at the top of Telluride during a ski vacation… as an avid skier, it sounds like a dream to me! Beyond our mutual love of outdoor winter sports, I was thrilled to finally meet these two in person and get them in front of my lens!
I am so excited to celebrate your University Club and St. Patrick’s Cathedral wedding – cheers for the scaffolding coming down in time – and can’t wait until April! Enjoy the highlights from your engagement session!
Such a stunning ring!
So cute you guys!!
I loved wandering the ivy covered pathways around the gardens… the one is stunning!!
One of my favorites!!
I love the shots we captured here… between the greens and golds of fall arriving and the gorgeous pinks and magenta flowers… I was in photographer heaven!
