Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
He knew it was the right day, but wasn’t quite sure exactly where he would pop the question. So Kayla and Jay set out on a walk across the city on a fall Saturday in Manhattan. Unfortunately for Jay, after not settling on a perfect spot… he ended up at a Patagonia store on the west side… stuck trying on vest after vest… unbeknownst to Kayla that there was a bright shiny object burning a hole in his pocket.
Luckily for Jay, on the way home they passed through Shakespeare’s Garden… definitely a fitting location for the big question. As they explored the gardens, two hummingbirds flew by… it was a sign! He took the opportunity to take a knee and ask Kayla the question he’d been dying to ask all day!!
I met these this adorable pair at the place where they’ll celebrate their wedding, and where Jay’s family grew up spending summers… The Coveleigh Club in Rye last week. The hot muggy weather didn’t deter the joy that Kayla and Jay exude together. I can’t wait to join them and their families for such a special day next month!!
Congrats you guys – I’m so excited!! Enjoy these highlights from your Coveleigh Club Engagement Session!
