Wedding Photography celebrating the Independence of the Adventurous, Cosmopolitan Bride serving New York, Connecticut and the Hamptons - based in Rye, NY
There’s something magical about the first few weeks of spring… one day it feels like another blizzard has crippled the east coast and frozen you in… and then before you know it the cherry blossoms are popping up everywhere and the city begins to bloom!
I was nervous when I arrived at Bethesda Terrace just before 7 o’clock on Sunday morning to meet Betsy and Mike for their engagement session… the air felt like spring but most of the trees still looked like winter, leafless and gray. But as soon as I entered the park on 72nd street… it became clear… the cherry blossoms are the stars right now and as the sun came up over Manhattan… the pink blossoms stole the show!
When Mike popped the question a few months ago, he took Betsy to the iconic Bow Bridge ask for her hand. We returned to that very spot to capture some of my favorite engagement photos to date!!
Betsy & Mike, it was such a joy to spend my Sunday morning with you both and I hope you love these images as much as I do!! I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys at Westchester Country Club for your fall wedding. Congrats!!
Weren’t these magical?!?
